1. INT. STADIUM. MORNING 1
COREY is woken from loud banging noises and the yelling of his companion. He stands up.
JAMES
Wake up Corey! They’re here! (yelling)
The three people with Corey run away down the corridor to the back door.
COREY
Wait Up (yelling)
COREY sees several zombies thumping the glass door to the gym. So he turns around picks up his backpack and sprints to the backdoor.
2. INT. BACKROOM. MORNING
COREY
Thanks for wait for me.
JAMES is stuffing supplies into his backpack.
JAMES
There here, we have to go. Start packing.
James throws a handgun over to COREY. Then COREY starts packing his bag. COREY stuffs bottles of water, a sleeping bag, ammunition, tins of food and cloths into his back.
COREY
Alright, lets go. The local school is supposed to be safe.
COREY stands up and heads for the door.
JAMES
Hold on.
JAMES throws COREY a gas mask.
Wear This.
COREY
Why?
JAMES
We don’t know what diseases are out there. Better to be safe than sorry.
COREY puts on his gas mask.
Okay, Lets move.
JAMES walks over to the door pushes the exit button and heads outside. Closely followed by COREY.
3. EXT. OVAL. MID-DAY 3
JAMES and COREY walk outside with their eyes darting. They take a few more steps outside then start to relax.
JAMES
Okay, We have to start to head for the school. I think its 10 km north from here.
COREY
Alright, you lead the wa...
A zombie jumps on JAMES and starts to bite into his neck. COREY sprints through the gate and onto the oval. Another zombie closely follows him. COREY looks over his shoulder and sees the zombie, so he reaches into his backpack, pulls out his semi-automatic gun and sprays the zombie without mercy. The zombie falls to the ground. COREY walks over to the dead zombie and finishes it off. He then starts to walk the school.
4. EXT. DESERTARDED ROAD. MID-DAY 4
COREY walks across the empty road with hesitation and awareness.
5 INT. SHOPPING CENTRE. MID-DAY 5
COREY opens the doors and walks inside the shopping centre. There are few people taking refuge in the shopping centre, they are sitting in the corner crying. COREY takes a seat and starts to eat a tin of food from his bag.
